What We Do

Coffee shop

Our coffee shop is open from 9.00am until 3pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12noon Saturday serving freshly ground coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks and cake!  

Games

• Bingo Wednesday from 11am
• Canasta Thursday from 1.30-3.30pm

All welcome to come and play.

Our Shop

The charity shop is open Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm and Saturday 9am – 12 noon.  We welcome donations of good quality clothing, homeware and bric a brac.  Why not come in one morning have a cup of coffee and have a browse in the shop?

Lunch

We will be serving a lovely 3 course homecooked lunch Monday to Friday at 12.30pm.  All over 55’s welcome to join us.  £7 for 3 courses.  Please phone us to book in before 10am and advise us of any dietary requirements.  

Outings and Entertainment

We have a new list of outings and events, please see our newsletter or speak to office for more details. 

Art and drawing groups

We have art and craft groups on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30am to 11.30am, £2 per person, bring your own work and enjoy working on it alongside other like minded people.  Coffee, tea and cake available.  

We have a knit and natter group on a Wednesday morning.  Free to join and all welcome to drop in.  

Wheelchairs

We have a couple of wheelchairs available to hire for a donation to the centre.  Please ask in the office for details.

Chiropody

We have a visiting part-time Chiropodist /Podiatrist at Age Concern who run a private Service.

Unfortunately Age Concern can not book appointments as the Chiropody/Podiatry are an independent service.

Hairdressing

We have our own hairdressing salon here at the Centre.  Helen, our hairdresser offers appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Appointments can be booked by contacting her directly on 01273 846444.
